Owner Nicole Schober is a lifelong dog lover and experienced dog handler. Nicole has been involved in dog rescue and dog boarding for over ten years and has experience with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Located in beautiful Glenwood Springs, she has boarded dogs since moving to Colorado in 2016. She provides outstanding care for dogs of all personalities in the comfort of her own home. She lives in a dog-friendly neighborhood with nearly 2,000 acres of common land and trails out her front door, and she enjoys getting outside and exercising as much as the dogs do!
Having also worked many weddings with a local catering company, Nicole recognized a recurring problem: couples wanting to include their dog on their wedding day was logistically very difficult. Aspen Unleashed Pet Care was established in 2021 to provide a stress-free wedding day experience for couples and their dog on their wedding day. Nicole will personally cater to your dogs every need during your wedding day, keeping your dog engaged while assessing stress levels and relief as needed, so you can focus on your big day!

Customizable packages include safe and reliable transportation to and from your ceremony, check ins, walks and relief breaks, feeding and watering, dog handling during your ceremony and during photographs.
Additional services can be added and tailored exactly to your needs. Add-on options include dog handling at the rehearsal dinner or cocktail hour and boarding in Nicole’s home or at a nearby accommodation before or after your wedding day.
